Xin Nian Kuai Le (Happy New Year), Earthlings!!!

Today is the 1st day of the Lunar New Year a.k.a. Chinese New Year…party time, excellent! The celebrations usually lasts about 2 weeks & are filled with tons of fireworks (used to ward off “evil spirits”), colorful decorations, dancers, acrobats, festival food, spending time with family & red envelopes filled with money to give to the little ones. Sounds like a pretty fun party, huh? Today is also the 1st day of the “Year of The Dragon”, which according to the Chinese Zodiac, it is supposed to bring very good luck & it should be a prosperous year for us all, so GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE! Last week, some friends & I drove down to The Bellagio & The Palazzo to check out their Chinese New Year displays. Here’s what we found…
